Poker Run

There will be a total of Seven (7) stops on the Poker Run with 7  Poker Run Adventure Labs ( One Lab Adventure with 5 locations) at each stop. The Adventure Labs will only be available Friday, July 31, 2026 from 10 am until 5 pm. Each Poker stop will also have a Poker Run Geocache with Poker Run cards in the form of barcode stickers or QR codes. 

This is an activity designed to get you out into the community to explore the surrounding areas, experience Historic Downtown Guthrie and have some fun.  There is plenty of time between the start of the Poker Run and turn-in time to get your cards so please take some time to visit each location and see what interesting things await you there. 

Poker Run rules to follow: 

1. Register as a Poker Run player at the Friday morning 9:00 AM event - Kicking off the Poker Run - GCBK6GP

2. One registration per person.  (If your geocaching name is for a group i.e. The Outlaws - then designate each individual on a separate registration for each person playing  i.e. The Outlaws Bob, The Outlaws Sue)

3. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO GET REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

4. Collect only one barcode  sticker or QR code from each Poker Run Geocache. You must have only one from all 7 with no duplicates. 

5. Any duplicates turned in at the end will be discarded. (i.e. - if you have 2 stickers/QR codes  from the same location then you will only have 6 cards to use for your best hand)

6. Complete all 7 Poker Run stops before the end of the game.

NOTE: The game closes at 5:00 PM - you will get a reminder at 4:30 PM   -  ALL entries are due by 5:00 PM.

7. Top Poker hands will be determined as the best 5 cards out of 7 using the WSOP hand rankings and descriptions shown below.

8. The Card Reveal Presentation will be shown at the Friday Night in the Park Event - GCBM4ZA 

9. WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AND COLLECT YOUR PRIZE - We will award prizes for the top FIVE (5) poker hands and the lowest hand overall 

10. In the event of a tie, the Land Run Office (event committee) will determine a fair tie breaker.

11. This is NOT a race - you have plenty of time. So travel carefully.

12. Please do not overcrowd each business. These are small shops and have volunteered to host this event. If too many people are there PLEASE go to the next one and then come back. 

13. Again you have plenty of time to eat lunch with friends at one of the downtown restaurants, do some Geocaching, Waymarking or Sight Seeing, and enjoy the shops, museums, and historic area. 

Any and ALL tie breakers will be determined fairly by the Land Run Office ( the event committee)
