Log Your Will Attend Here: Land Run 2026
The Poker Run of Land Run 2026 will be held
Friday, July 31 in Historic Downtown Guthrie.
There will be a total of Ten (10) stops on the Poker Run with a Poker Run Adventure Lab location at each one. This Adventure Lab will only be available Friday, July 31, 2026 from 8 am until 5 pm. Seven (7) of the ten (10) stops will also have a Poker Run Geocache with Poker Run cards in the form of sealed envelopes, tokens or stickers.
This is an activity designed to get you out into the community to explore the surrounding areas, experience Historic Downtown Guthrie and have some fun. There is plenty of time between the start of the Poker Run and turn-in time to get your cards so please take some time to visit each location and see what interesting things await you there.
Poker Run rules to follow:
Pick up a Poker Run Game Sheet at the Friday morning event.
One poker sheet per individual. (If your geocaching name is for a group i.e. The Outlaws - then designate each individual on a separate poker sheet for each person playing i.e. The Outlaws Bob, The Outlaws Sue)
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR GAME SHEET.
Collect only one sealed envelope card, token, or sticker from each Poker Run Geocache. You must have one from all 7 with no duplicates.
Any unsealed envelopes or duplicates turned in at the end will be discarded. (i.e. - if one of your envelopes is not sealed or you have 2 stickers from the same location then you will only have 6 cards to use for your best hand)
Return your Poker Run Game Sheet with 7 cards, tokens, or stickers to the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce office (the last stop on the Adventure Lab)
NOTE: we will start collecting cards at 4:00 PM. and ALL entries are due by 5:00 PM.
Top Poker hands will be determined as the best 5 cards out of 7 using the WSOP hand rankings and descriptions shown below.
Winners will be announced at the Saturday Land Run 2026 event.
WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN AND COLLECT YOUR PRIZE
In the event of a tie, the Land Run Office (event committee) will determine a fair tie breaker.
This is NOT a race - you have plenty of time. So travel carefully.
Please do not overcrowd each business. These are small shops and have volunteered to host this event. If too many people are there PLEASE go to the next one and then come back.
Again you have plenty of time to eat lunch with friends at one of the downtown restaurants, do some Geocaching, Waymarking or Sight Seeing, and enjoy the shops, museums, and historic area.
Any and ALL tie breakers will be determined fairly by the Land Run Office ( the event committee)
